Instructions:
- Fill the measuring cylinder with 250 ml of liquid
- Perform first measurement on alcoholic liquid (at 20°C)
- Pour liquid into heat-resistant container
- Boil liquid for 20 minutes or until half volume evaporates
- Cool the liquid and add distilled water up to 250 ml
- Perform second measurement (at 20°C)
Measurement Example:
- First measurement: -7.0° Oechsle
- Second measurement: +8.5° Oechsle
- Difference: 15.5° Oechsle
- Result: 11.73% alcohol content
- Residual sugar: 21.9 g/l
