This simple and compact pressure valve is useful for beer transfers or pressure fermentation when you want to limit oxygen exposure and use counter pressure in the keg you are filling or in the fermenter you are using.

The upgraded G2 model has several improvements:

1. Duotight fitting where the gauge attaches - This allows for various options such as digital gauge or larger gauge to be purchased separately and upgraded.

2. Manual ring pull pressure relief - In addition to adjusting the pressure with the black rotary knob, you can also quickly release pressure manually by pulling the ring.

3. Option for several color-coded pressure relief valves: Yellow - 1.2 bar (17 psi), Red - 2.5 bar (35 psi), Green - 4.5 bar (65 psi), Gray - 7 bar (100 psi).

This is a low-profile option, only 4.5 cm in height. This pressure valve fits standard gas posts on your fermenter or keg.

The device works right out of the box but offers several upgrade options.

The new Spund G2 is better designed than the older Spund G1 model. The older G1 models had a threaded gauge that was often in the incorrect orientation, lacked manual pressure relief, and due to injection molding flaws, did not fit all keg posts. For this reason, the G1 model was discontinued shortly after being released and was replaced with the G2 model.

Usage instructions: Connect the pressure valve to the gas fitting of your keg or fermenter. Adjust the desired pressure level using the rotary knob. For manual pressure release, pull the ring. This device is ideal for beer transfers or pressure fermentation, ensuring better quality by limiting oxygen exposure.
