Silicone Bung 9mm Hole (17.5mm x 22.5mm)
This bung is made from lead-free curing silicone. Suitable for all food and beverage contact. Fits perfectly with standard KL20947 500ml amber glass bottles if you are a small craft beer producer.
It also serves as a replacement airlock bung for KegLand Bucket Buddy systems. Dimensions: 17.5mm tapering to 22.5mm, with a 9mm diameter hole.
Usage: The silicone bung is used for hermetically sealing bottles and containers while allowing air movement through the hole, which is especially important in fermentation processes. The bung should be inserted into the bottle or container opening, pressing it firmly in place to ensure airtightness.
