Silicone Bung 32 x 48/H55 Bored (Fits 3L & 5L Erlenmeyer Flask)
Made from lead-free silicone. Suitable for all food and beverage contact. This bung is designed to be used with an Airlock or our EVABarrier 6mm x 9.5mm Hose as a blow off tube for fermentation.
Compatible with our 3L Erlenmeyer Flask and 5L Erlenmeyer Flask. Dimensions: tapered 32mm to 48mm, height 55mm.
Usage principle: The silicone bung is installed on the fermentation vessel to ensure hermetic sealing, while allowing carbon dioxide produced during fermentation to escape through an airlock or tube, preventing air and contaminants from entering the fermentation vessel.
