High-quality polyester filter bag designed for adding hops during fermentation or steeping grain during boiling. This upgraded design filter bag features reinforced stitching around the entire perimeter. If you use a heat exchanger, we strongly recommend bagging your hops, especially when brewing NEIPA or DIPA beer, as loose hops can clog plates or even your pump.
The filter bag withstands heat up to 110°C, making cleanup and maintenance significantly easier. In addition to hops, it's also suitable for steeping malted grains or adding any other ingredients you want to use on the tea bag principle.
Dimensions: 13 x 58 cm
Usage principle: The filter bag is used in home brewing (BIAB or Brew In A Bag method) to separate hops or other additives from the beer. Fill the bag with the necessary ingredients, close the bag, and place it in the liquid. After the required time has passed, remove the bag with the ingredients inside, leaving behind clean liquid.
