This connection kit is specifically designed to fit NukaTap Mini taps and allows you to connect the NukaTap Mini to a cooler box, beer cooler, keg fridge, cold room wall, or any other flat surface.

Innovative and Novel Design
Unlike other connection kits, this kit does not use a bulky 5/8" metal rod. The problem with a 5/8" metal rod is that it acts as a heat conductor, and since most other connections are located inside an insulated wall, this causes a significant amount of warm beverage to flow from the tap before the cold beverage starts flowing. This creates a substantial "first pour foam" effect, which wastes the beverage, can cause sour beverage problems, and ultimately negatively affects the quality of the beverages being served. With this new design, the beverage line reaches directly to the back of the tap, significantly reducing the amount of non-refrigerated beverage.

No Rotation in the Connection
If you have ever installed a traditional 5/8" long connection, you know how frustrating it is when the tap starts rotating during use. This new connection alternative uses three screws that lock the tap in a fixed position and prevent the taps from rotating. If you loosen the 1/2" stainless steel tap fitting, you still have the flexibility to rotate the tap in any direction, but when the fitting is tight, the interlocking teeth on this kit and the NukaTap Mini will keep the tap permanently in the correct position.

Easy Installation
Unlike other long connection kits, this kit does not require a large 22 mm hole saw to drill through the wall. As no connection is needed, only a hole large enough to accommodate the beverage line is required. Therefore, only an 8 mm conventional drill bit is necessary, which makes installation easier. If you are still concerned about the small amount of beverage in the line within the wall not being refrigerated, you can drill out a larger diameter of foam on the inside of the wall to allow cold air to circulate around the beverage line, further reducing the non-refrigerated beverage in the line. If you want to do this, a step drill bit is the best tool for the job.

Fits Any Wall Thickness
Other connection kits require you to purchase a specific length connection for a specific wall thickness. This new connection alternative fits any wall thickness. If you have a wall thickness of less than 80 mm, you can use the included screws that have "break points," so you can simply cut the screws to the desired length. However, if the wall is thicker than 80 mm, you can simply purchase a conventional screw from a hardware store and attach the connection kit to your wall. If the substrate is firm enough, you may not even need to go completely through the wall, so a standard 30 mm long screw may be all you need.
