Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone (PVPP) Wine Stabilizer
Product Description:
PVPP is a specialized stabilizer and fining agent designed to improve wine quality and stability. This substance binds and removes unwanted polyphenols and tannins from wine, helping to prevent oxidation and improving wine color and clarity.
Instructions for Use:
1. Dissolve PVPP in water at a ratio of 1:5 (1 part PVPP to 5 parts water)
2. First test the solution with a small amount
3. Add the solution to the wine
4. Pump if necessary
Recommended Amounts:
- Grape must: 20-40 g/hl
- Wines: 5-15 g/hl
- Oxidized wines: 20-30 g/hl
Maximum allowed amount according to EU regulation 2019/934: 80 g/hl
Storage:
- Unopened package: store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place
- Opened package: close carefully, store under the same conditions, avoid moisture and heat
