Brewing Kettle 100L BrewZilla Gen 4 with pump 2200W
BrewZilla Gen 4 is a compact single-vessel, double-batch home brewing system that can be used straight out of the box with a 32A 3-phase 400V connection. A qualified electrician can rewire it for 32/16A three-phase 230V connection. It's a complete turnkey system with delay timer function and step mashing capability. Designed to produce batches up to 90L, this is the largest single-vessel brewing kettle brought to you by KegLand. We recommend using the Lift'N'Lock hoist system with the 100L BrewZilla, as the malt pipe can be quite heavy for the average user.
Features that distinguish this brewing kettle from other designs:
Full concave drain base:
The new base design allows complete drainage, meaning you get every last drop of wort. No more tilting the kettle to remove the final wort drops. This makes the unit suitable for CIP cleaning using the new small-volume CIP spray rotor.
False bottom pump protection screen:
A key feature of all BrewZilla single-vessel units is the false bottom pump protection screen. This screen eliminates the need for whirlpooling and filters wort while preventing more than 95% of hops and hot break material from entering the pump, significantly reducing clogged pump issues common with other brewing kettle designs.
Ultra-low power density:
BrewZilla has significantly lower power density than other brewing kettles. The main advantage of low power density is that you can produce lighter colored beers that would otherwise caramelize. Ultra-low power density also means less chance of boiling over, less debris on the heating element making cleaning easier, and extends the heating element's life.
25W magnetic drive pump as standard:
This magnetic drive pump is ideal for the brewing system. Can withstand temperatures up to 120°C, allowing operation with boiling liquid without needing to cool it first. Extremely efficient 1.1A pump that can be used continuously at high temperatures.
RAPT/Wifi connectivity:
The new Gen 4 model is the first BrewZilla to connect to the RAPT portal (https://app.rapt.io/). This portal allows you to track, save, and monitor your brewing processes online. This significantly reduces the need for manual brewing process notes as everything is done automatically. The RAPT portal allows you to view all previous brews and control the brewing kettle remotely so you can start preheating water from a distance or simply monitor the brewing process while doing something else. You'll get notifications on your mobile phone when to add hops or start boiling.
In addition to easy access and control, RAPT BrewZilla allows you to fully customize your brew day with profiles specifically tailored to your brewing style or recipe.
For example, you could set up your profile to receive certain alarms or notifications when you need to do something. E.g., adding grains when strike temperature is reached. Mash-out alarm when ready for sparging. Adding salt/hops when you've reached boiling. Also hop stand additions or cooling instructions. All this with one button press that's pre-programmed to what you want to do. No more egg timers, no more phone timers. Everything is controlled from one place.
Bluetooth device:
KegLand is currently developing various Bluetooth devices, such as the RAPT Bluetooth thermometer and other sensors that are compatible with this brewing kettle. This brewing kettle can receive BLE signals and transmit this information to the RAPT portal. By receiving multiple BLE thermometer sensor inputs, the brewing kettle can make smarter and more automated decisions on how to control the brewing or distilling process. For example, a BLE thermometer can be placed in cooling water to get a warning when the temperature is too high, a BLE thermometer can be placed in the center of the malt pipe to more accurately control heating element on/off switching to achieve the malt pipe center temperature, etc.
Enhanced base design with easy pump access:
The new base design means we've enclosed all electronic devices on the bottom of the brewing kettle in a separate junction box. This has allowed us to eliminate the bottom cover. This significant design change means much easier access to the pump. It also means plumbing can be modified more easily. For example,
